To Do or Not To Do

In todays world drugs are a BIG problem. Teens everywhere are falling into peer presure and doing drugs weather its smoking them or injecting them or inhaling them. Schools are trying along wiyh local law enforcment to crack down on it but its still happening. Parents talk to your kids about not doing drugs,and teens if a friend of yours is on drugs if you truly care about them talk to them and help them stop. Drugs destory your body, your family,cause cancer and kill friendships. So bottom line DONT DO DRUGS! If you are doing drugs and you want to quit there is help out there. And teens if your friend is doing drugs and you want them to quit talk to them let them know how you feel. Like always feel free to email me. I will write you back.

Marriage

Well something that was in the news lately that may have caught some peoples attention was that New Hampshire accepted a gay rights bill making it the 6Th state in the U.S. to accept such laws. Now I personally agree with gay marriage. Because if you love someone no matter what sex you are if you are in love with each other then you should have the same rights as a man and woman who are in love with each other. People who say that gay people are destroying the marriage system are wrong straight people who are using the system to get married then get divorced to get money and things from their other half are destroying the marriage system. After observing a relationship between a gay couple you will as i have realized that they are just like any other couple in the world except for the fact when they go out in to the public eye they have to act differently like that can't hold hands when they walk down the street because other closed minded Americans think ewww that's not right or how could "they" be like that. Not only that but once people find out that someone is gay the treat them differently and that is not right. Gay people are the same as other people the only difference is that they aren't in a traditional man woman relationship so what they dare to be different and for anybody that has a problem with what i am saying maybe they need to wake up and look at their life because no one is perfect. Hi i am new to the whole blogging thing so to start welcom to my blog thank you for reading it

SPEAK UP!!!

Well school is out and summer is in but for the school board the year is really just getting started. The school board has some really tough decisions to make like what programs to cut what teachers to "dismiss" and what electives will stay in effect. I'm sure a lot of you have heard that sports is on the top of the list of cuts and as parents and students there is not a whole lot we can do. But what i suggest is that students write letters to the school board explaining you thoughts and opinions get involved and don't take the back seat on this issue let you voice be heard SPEAK UP!! Parents all through high school you were able to go to the home coming games and Friday night football games but if you have a child in high school or entering high school they may not get the chance to do those things. Juniors and Seniors prom for next year the ticket price alone can bury you and then you have to add the price of a tux or dress and don't forget gas money. Education is the most important thing in life besides family and for the state and the country is putting education second and that is not fair to the students. So SPEAK UP let our voices be heard. So go out there write letters to our congress men and to the school board.

Vacations Yes or No

This year with all of the finical problems in the world families are cutting back. So the big question this summer with school out is vacations. last summer you may have traveled a lot but this year you might get stuck home. Even tho companies are cutting back prices they still can nickle and dime us. So here are some tips i have come up with to beat the summer vacation blues: Get involved in your community: a great way to have fun and help out is by volunteering, maybe at habitat for humanity or maybe the animal shelter. Go to the library get a good book and enjoy read in the fresh Florida air. for families you could take a day trip down to the beach and have a picnic. Get out side and enjoy eachothers company play a game toss the ball. The best part about summer is having the time to enjoy family and you kids and kids enjoy your time with your parents. So Go Get Outside A play a game of ball!! Enjoy your Summer!!!
